Hi, my name is Alex. I am from Barcelona. After living in the UK for twelve years, mainly in London, I moved to Copenhagen in 2023, where I currently live and work.
My drawings are like a visual diary, a journey through houses, cities, and friends—a walk through the everyday where the ordinary shows up in an unusual way.
I focus my attention on things around me, sometimes it's a messy kitchen, a laundry basket, or a friend posing or getting bored. The challenge is how to use that reality, without making an illustration of it.
I like the idea of taking something simple and making it into something else, something more.
